Cost of Health Insurance
The standard and quality of Singapore's medical and healthcare services is high, and Singapore has the reputation for clinical excellence. However, hospitalization and surgical costs for international students can be very expensive. Therefore, while enrolled in one the institutes programme, it is important that you have insurance for major accident, hospitalization and surgery.
The majority of the institutes make it compulsory for all full-time graduate students to subscribe to their Student Insurance Scheme. The cost varies from one institute to another.
